ADAO Launches New Asbestos & Mesothelioma Resources Graphic Ahead of Miles for Meso 2025

Get ready to dust off those running shoes and take part in a fight against a deadly disease. Simmons Hanly Conroy invites you to join the 17th annual Miles for Meso race on September 20, 2025. This exciting event is not just a race, but a collective stride towards battling mesothelioma, a form of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.

This year, we are thrilled to introduce our team captain, Penny Jo Major, a passionate advocate from the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO). Penny has been instrumental in ADAO’s Ban Asbestos Miles for Meso team, leading the charge in raising awareness of the dangers of asbestos and its direct link to mesothelioma.

The Miles for Meso race comes in two fun flavors, a competitive 5K race and a 3K fun run/walk. No matter your fitness level or running experience, there’s a place for you on the starting line. Every step taken is a stand against asbestos and a step towards a world free of mesothelioma.

In preparation for the upcoming race, ADAO has launched a new Asbestos and Mesothelioma Resources Graphic. This informative visual aid is designed to educate the public on the dangers of asbestos and the link to mesothelioma. By spreading knowledge, ADAO aims to prevent future cases of mesothelioma and help those currently living with the disease.

So, lace up those running shoes and join the fight against mesothelioma. Let’s run Miles for Meso together, because every mile matters.
