ADAO Supports Australia’s National Asbestos Awareness Week on November 24 – November 30, 2025

Every November, there’s a rallying cry echoing across Australia’s shores, a unified effort for a cause that hits close to home. It’s National Asbestos Awareness Week, a time when the country comes together to educate, remember, and act upon the perils of asbestos exposure. The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) stands shoulder to shoulder with our Australian partners during this period. Our mission? To honor those lives tragically lost due to asbestos-related diseases, offer support to those currently affected, and advocate for global strategies to prevent asbestos exposure.

Despite the country’s decisive move to ban all six forms of asbestos in 2003, the specter of legacy asbestos remains a concern. This is why efforts like the National Asbestos Awareness Week are so crucial, a beacon of hope and action in the fight against asbestos.

For more information on ADAO’s involvement and support for Australia’s National Asbestos Awareness Week, which will take place from November 24 to November 30, 2025, please visit our post at [ADAO Supports Australia’s National Asbestos Awareness Week](https://www.asbestosdiseaseawareness.org/newsroom/blogs/national-asbestos-awareness-week-2025/). As always, we remain committed to our quest for a world free from asbestos-related diseases, one step, and one awareness event, at a time.
